Eversince I got married, I made sure that our first aid cabinet is complete and well equipped with the medicines and tools that we need for minor accidents. I guess, every household should have that. First aid kit, medicines for cough and cold, fever and flu and some simple yet durable medical equipment. Because they say that it's better to be safe than to be sorry.
You can get all these at AllegroMedical.com. It is founded in 1996 and now serving more than 1 million customers. Allegro Medical is one of the largest and most technologically advanced independently owned online retailers of life enhancing products in the United States.

discount designer jewelry
I have a lot of fashionista friends who get giddy with new clothes, shoes, bags and expecially accessories. One of them is into discount designer jewelry collecting and she is proud of this hobby. She can't help but rave about how magnificent her pieces from Holsted Jewelers are and will not stop convincing all our other friends to try them.
At Holsted, the designers make sure that the pieces they make are simply the best. Whether or not you want to shine or just stay simple, they have the right pieces available only for you. They are affordable yet really elegant looking and there's no wasted money on them.

Mom: Why are you up so early, anak?
Lizzie: Dunno, just got used to it.
Mom: Why don't you have school nga?
Lizzie: Because we have H1H1H1N1 virus (pronounced as vayros)
At least, she knows why she's home!

gold coin
Do you remember collecting silver and gold coins as a kid? I do! And even until now, I collect them, but not really the real gold ones. But the coins that we have in the market. I have one trivia for you though, did you know that these coins originated from money bars worth more than the largest paper bill denomination out there.

snake hot dogs
1 Hot dog
1 Hot dog bun
Take hot dog and make horizontal slits (that go a little more than halfway through the hot dog) down half the length of the hot dog.
For the other half of the hot dog do the same thing but make
the slits on the opposite side.
When boiled (or microwaved) the hot dog will twist like a snake.
Serve on a hot dog bun with chili or cheese if desired.

Four Foods on Friday
#1. Mashed potatoes. Do you usually buy the boxes, the frozen or make from scratch.
Buy from the store – carton/ready-made.
#2. Cottage cheese. What kind do you like? (large curd, small curd, 2%, 4%, no salt, etc) We don't eat cottage cheese in the family.
#3. Is there a food that you are brand loyal to?
Cookies – Keebler's Soft Batch are heavenly!
#4. When cooking do you usually use fresh onions or the ones from the spice aisle that are chopped or powdered?
Always Fresh!

Surprisingly Good-for-You Foods
From Aggie.
Anyway, this article caught my attention - “Surprising Good-For-You Foods”. So I’d like to share it here grabbed from Delish.com.
Buttermilk: Originally, buttermilk was the liquid remaining after cream was churned into butter, but today it’s made by adding lactic-producing bacteria and nonfat milk solids to pasteurized milk. Buttermilk can be made from whole milk, but the more popular varieties are low-fat (1 percent fat) and reduced-fat (1.5 percent fat).
Cream-style corn: There was cream in your grandma’s recipe, but the liquid in today’s cans is actually a component of the corn kernels themselves and other ingredients such as starch. If you look at calories and fat, canned cream-style and whole-kernel corn are identical.
Pork: Lean cuts (tenderloin, boneless loin chops) compare favorably with skinless chicken. So, if your family is crying “fowl,” vary the menu with these healthy cuts of pork.
Salmon: Yes, half of its calories come from fat, but it’s the heart-healthy omega-3 type (often called fish oil). Some studies indicate omega-3 fats reduce the likelihood of blood clots that can lead to heart attacks or stroke.
Eggs: One large egg is a significant source of a number of vitamins and minerals, and contains only 75 calories and 5 grams of fat. Moreover, most of this fat is the healthy, unsaturated variety. (Eggs are high in cholesterol, but the chief villain in raising blood-cholesterol levels is not the cholesterol in our diets, but in saturated fats.) Also, egg yolks are rich in the pigment zeaxanthin, which seems to help protect eyes from macular degeneration, a leading cause of blindness in people older than 65.
Chicken thighs: They are higher in fat and calories than breasts, but as long as you remove the skin and any excess fat, economical thighs fit into a good-for-you diet. They also provide 25 percent more iron and more than twice as much zinc as the same amount of breast meat.
Frozen/canned fruits and vegetables: We agree that fresh, locally grown produce can’t be beat, but frozen and canned fruits and vegetables compare favorably (in terms of nutrition), providing an array of vitamins, minerals and phytochemicals, as well as fiber.
Beef tenderloin steaks: Ounce for ounce, this tender cut has about the same calorie and fat content as skinless chicken thighs. The key is portion size. At home, count a 3/4-inch-thick steak (about 3 1/2 ounces) as a single serving. At steak houses, order the petit filet mignon.

unique wedding favor ideas
Anyone who can suggest of unique wedding favor ideas? My friend is getting hitched in six months and I was given the honor to come up with nice wedding ideas and suggestions for their wedding. The couple is actually adventurous having met in one trekking activity a few years ago. I heard about The Knot Wedding Shop and how it can cater to my very busy schedule. I am so keen in checking out their favors that can be personalized with the couple's name and their wedding date. With their 24 hour accessibility and quick turnaround delivery for last minute order, I guess this is the best wedding site to be. Care to comment?
