destination weddings

A friend will be getting married in a couple of months. A few days ago, they were asking us about recommended themes for wedding. I, being an advocate of solemn and intimate weddings went for one that will be done in church - a nice, dainty chapel perhaps with pretty flowers and all their loved ones in attendance. But the couple are leaning towards destination weddings which they actually read about in some magazines and internet sites. They are so excited that the bride to be has done her own research and has fallen in love with the entire concept altogether. I am pretty sure their wedding will be one of a kind considering that not all will really spend time, money and effort for this kind of union. But nonetheless, we are all excited and we can't wait to take part in the celebration.
